Terms, sponsorship and refunds

What this site is

G4G Assets is a community-run library of 3D assets operated by G4GApps. Anyone can suggest an object, vote, sponsor an idea, rate and flag finished assets, and download anything in the library. The studio that builds the assets is automated: it takes ideas from the queue in turn and publishes what it makes.

The assets

Every asset in the library is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. You may use, change, share and sell them in any project, commercial or not, with credit to G4GApps. Assets are generated by machine from text and images and are provided as they are, with no promise that any asset matches its prompt, is free of defects, or suits a particular purpose. Flag problems from an asset's page and the community can ask for a rebuild.

Requests and votes

Suggesting an idea or voting is free and grants nothing beyond a place in the queue's rotation. We decline ideas that are not a description of a single object or that our content rules do not allow (sexual content, hate, real people, trademarked characters and brands, real-world weapons and drugs). Declined ideas may be sent back by community vote unless declined for content. We may remove any request, vote, rating or flag that abuses the site.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is money put behind an idea, from $2 with no maximum, paid by card through Stripe. It funds the project and gives the idea a place in the sponsor lane: the idea with the highest current sponsorship takes the second turn in the studio's rotation. Sponsorship buys priority, not the asset, not ownership of it, not a guaranteed result, and not a delivery date. It never adds votes. Sponsorship is not a donation and is not tax deductible. Prices are in US dollars; any applicable tax is shown at checkout.

Tips

The tip jar (Ko-fi) is separate from sponsorship. A tip buys nothing: it does not move any idea, it counts toward the studio's bills and equipment goals shown on the fund panel, and it is handled under Ko-fi's own terms. Tips are not donations to a charity and are not tax deductible.

Refunds

Sponsorship is for a place in the queue, and that place is given the moment payment is confirmed, so sponsorship is non-refundable, with two exceptions: if we cannot build the idea at all, or if the charge was made in error (a duplicate charge, or a charge you did not authorise), write to us within 30 days and we will refund it in full. A refund or a card dispute removes the sponsorship from the idea. To ask for a refund, email john@c4genterprises.com with the idea and the date of the charge.

Privacy

We store the ideas, votes, ratings, flags and sponsorships you submit, and a random identifier in a cookie so each person gets one vote per idea. We do not sell personal data. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. We use Cloudflare to serve the site and to tell people from bots.
