Inside the release

Put a slow, unsettling presence in a crypt, graveyard or ruined village. Half-Eaten Zombie has a damaged cheek, exposed ribs, torn clothing and uneven bare-footed movement. Limping, injured and unsteady walks suit encounters that close the distance gradually. The library also includes faster general-purpose motions; not every clip is a slow shuffle.

Explore 110 named animations in the included native engine previews. Select a motion and inspect the supplied character before integrating it into your game.

Included

  • One textured, unarmed Half-Eaten Zombie character with a custom 24-bone rig.
  • 110 named animations covering locomotion, zombie behavior, unarmed actions, reactions, falls and recovery.
  • Native Godot, Unity and Unreal Engine packages with selectable animation previews.
  • An optional Source ZIP with an editable Blender master, packed texture, GLB models, body FBX, individual animation FBXs and a motion catalog.

Pricing and license

The three native engine ZIPs are free or pay what you want. Pay US$1.99 or more to add the optional Source ZIP. Source is a production convenience, not a requirement for commercial use.

The same included license allows use and modification in personal and commercial finished projects. It prohibits standalone resale, redistribution, sublicensing and competing asset-library use. Attribution is not required; see the included license for the full terms.

Technical details

The character is approximately 1.75 m tall in its walking stance, with one skinned body mesh, a custom 24-bone skeleton and matte textured materials. No separate weapon or equipment attachment is included.

The packages were tested on macOS in Godot 4.7.2, Unity 6000.3.14f1 and Unreal Engine 5.8.3. The editable master was reopened in Blender 5.2.1 LTS. Other versions and platforms require validation. Unreal uses a custom skeleton, not the Epic mannequin.

Integration notes

Motions include in-place clips and authored travel. Gameplay movement, loop setup, transitions and environmental contact require integration; preview repeat does not certify seamless loops.

No controller, AI, ragdoll, cloth simulation, separate facial rig or articulated finger rig is included. Visible digits retain the supplied hand shapes rather than finger-by-finger animation.

The principal attack includes locally authored upper-arm rotation corrections. Its motion identity and the count of 110 are retained; the corrected action is not untouched stock motion.
